2nd Vocabulary Entry


Ventured

 -Dare to do something or go somewhere that may be dangerous or unpleasant: "she ventured out into the blizzard".
-Dare to do or say something that may be considered audacious (often used as a polite expression of hesitation or apology).

Example:
1."Ventured in this job make us risked losing a lot of money "; "Why risk your life?"; "She laid her job on the line when she told the boss that he was wrong"
2."I ventured to guess that Anon, who wrote so many poems without signing them, was often a woman" .

Seamanship
Seamanship is the art of operating a ship or boat.
Example:
1. He learned that seamanship from his father when he was a little boy.
2. Now on, seamanship can be learned through the internet.

Adventurous

·         -willing to take risks or to try out new methods, ideas, or experiences.
·         -Involving new ideas or methods.
Example:
·    1.The enthusiasm of my adventurous comrades was starting to infect even me.
·    2.This should not be scary, it is a simple and adventurous decision to bemade.


Curiosity
-  A desire to know or learn..
-  A desire to know about people or things that do not concern one; nosiness.

example:
1. when we were child, our curiosity is very high because thats is the time for us to learn anew thing.
2.high curiosity sometimes will makes us do something bad

Allegiance
The loyalty of a citizen to his or her government or of asubject to his or her sovereign.

example:
1.Libraries now regard their users as customers whose needs should bemet in order to secure their allegiance.
2. You have seen duty and allegiance in the determined faces of oursoldiers.

Treachery
Betrayal of trust; deceptive action or nature.
example:
1. Valerrina is called treachery in our class because she used our club's fund to the other club.
2. Treachery in working place is very bad attitude.

Circumnavigated
To proceed completely around: circumnavigating the earth. To go around; circumvent.

example:
1. circumnavigate the downtown traffic is sometimes very tired things to do.
2.The first flying man-made airship to circumnavigated the world was the LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin, which did so in 1929.

Etched
- To outline clearly or sharply; delineate, as a person's features or character.

example:
1. Our last conversation is etched in my memory.
2.The trees is etched against the winter sky.

Generous
- something like; happy to give more money/ help to people who needed.

example:
1. Anna was so generous to send us back home even though she is tried. 
2. Minal generous  to gave his food to the old man sitting outside the shop.


Abundance
-an extremely plentiful or oversufficient quantity or supply: anabundance of grain.
-overflowing fullness: abundance of the heart.Affluence  wealth  the enjoyment of abundance of wealth..

Example
1 .However, these mangroves are important to the local fishing industry,particularly for their abundance  of crabs.
2.Even though the temperature change was quite small, its effect on mosquito abundance  was quite large
